We design User Experiences
At Konbi, we firmly believe that art direction and interaction design (UX / UI design) are the two sides of the same coin.
The key to the success of an interactive design project, whether it be a website or a mobile application, lies in the continuous dialogue of information architecture with the artistic direction, and certainly not in the artificial sequencing of tasks. The same goes for the person responsible for the web and mobile development of a project: we consider that the developer is a full-fledged designer whose advice upstream of a project must go well beyond the technical requirements, and extend during production beyond its traditional scope.
Youmag is a News-reader app. This French startup was founded in 2011 by Guillaume Multrier & Cédric Siré.
Charles Lacorne created the logo, visual and interaction guidelines, designed the product for different devices (iPad, iPhone, Android, web), and design managed the brand’s communication tools (facebook campaigns, short animated films). Designed for all devices, the brand and product offered a unique and innovative experience for its readers: full visual navigation, stratified architecture, and a pagination system adapted to new UI/UX challenges.
